When you aren't having kids you don't have to worry about school districts, but at the same time- all of the "nice" neighborhoods were the ones with the good School districts anyway.
So we ended up in a good SD anyway.
See, it's not like that in Westchester. Things are zoned weird & there are plenty of great neighborhoods that are in not so nice districts. I lvie in a middle of the road neighborhood, which I like.
I don't want to live in one of the fancier surrounding areas, but if we had kids it would be an issue becuse of the schools.
