DC's Ped died yesterday
Just found out that my DC's Pediatrician died yesterday. He was my ped as well. He was also my Boy Scout leader. I've known him for roughly 25 years. He was a father figure to me growing up. He helped me when I was first diagnosed with diabetes. I used to go camping with him almost every month, and two weeks every summer for almost 10 years. I've been to his house countless times. I don't think there was an adult male that I was closer with growing up.
I'm glad that he got to see my two DC for at least a few years, and I got back in touch with him as well.
Wow... typing this is harder than I thought.....
