Montauk Restaurants
Please recommend your favorite restaurants in Montauk. Also, please give your opinion on whether they are child friendly or not. Thanks so much!

Re: Montauk Restaurants
Shagwong! It is a bar and restaurant. It can be child friendly if you sit at a table in the back. There are tables in the front that are close to the bar and it gets crowded and loud in there....I always see families with children in there though. There is another called Oyster Pond that I thought was quiet and child friendly too!

Re: Montauk Restaurants
The Harvest. Hands down the best restaurant in Montauk. Most people don't know but you can bring your own wine to help with the bill as it is a little expensive. I have always seen kids there each time I go.

Re: Montauk Restaurants
I think Pizza Village is terrible
The Harvest could be kid friendly, but it is very pricey (IMO) to bring a little kid to.
Lunch (Lobster Roll) on the Napeague stretch is kid friendly (not fancy at all)
Gosmans is good, so is Lennys (both out by the marina)
There is a diner in town, and a place next to Herb's called "668" that looked kid friendly too.
Also John's Pancake house and Wok and Roll right in town too

Re: Montauk Restaurants
OMG LOVE John's....Kate we are going for breakfast on the Sunday, right???
Last year we went to Mike Manucci's near Gossmans - not sure if it is still open but it was great.
Harvest IMO is $$$ unless you are a group.
Love Lunch and also, The Montauket for sunset (not food tho, lol!! Just beer!).
