EI Eval

I called .Sufflok County to have my DS evaluated for physical therapy. The lady also said he would be evaluated for special ed. When I spoke with the lady at the agency she asked me if there was a specific place I wanted to do the evaluation. I don't know of any places. Can anyone recommed a place for the eval.

He was evaluated when he was about 4 months, but didn't qualify. It was done by Selig and O'Connel.

Ryan's evals were at home with EI. We used the agency Empowering Minds in Holbrook for the evals.

We used South Shore Speech in Babylon. I've also heard that Tender Age in Bohemia is a good agency.

i can recommend marion k salomon enough. we have had 3 evals with them and each time has been great. marion herself did hannah's psych and she spent hours at our house. it is a top notch agency, as a parent and professional.

WE had the eval done in our home by MEtro Therapy - we used them for both OT and PT. I think having the eval done in your home is beneficial b/c it is likely where DC is most comfortable
