Follow-up doc appointments
First let me just say that I am a bit aggrivated that I just got a call from the Ped today looking for DD to come in for a follow-up visit for the UTI she had almost 3 weeks ago. She was in for the initial evaluation and got a prescription. They then wanted me to come back after 4 days on medication for a urine re-check. Ok, we did that. Today, I get a call that she was supposed to come in 4 days AFTER she finished the medication.  She finished the medication TEN DAYS AGO  .
Long story short, do they just want a follow-up to collect my co-pay??? Does she really need this many appointments for this???

Talk to the doctor.
What the doc says goes. He has to have a medical reason. Ask him for it.
