CARRABBAS IN CENTRAL ISLIP

I made a reservation last week for tonight...When I got there, they told me that they do not take reservations. We were a party of 7 including my 2 kids. I explained that a woman there took my reservation and NEVER told me to call ahead. The girl then came forward and said that she took my reservation but told me about the call ahead--SHE LIED! I was so mad and embarrassed! I had my whole family there and now no place to eat!!
The manager asked for me to wait and promised that I would eventually be seated (it was at least a 2 hour wait) and swore that we would NOT be able to eat anywhere else...WELL---MULBERRY Street in Bay shore took us with no problem and the food was better.

wow, that is so annoying!!!

I had a similar thing happen with Chilis. I had a party of like 10-12 ppl and we were going to see a move after we ate so I called like 2 hrs ahead and they told me no prob. But when we got there, they werent ready for us b/c no one had written it down! So they had no idea , and there was a major wait. They ended up taking us right away, somehow they had the room
