I buy organic, wait until they're perfectly ripe, wash and peel with a potato peeler... then cut into pieces add water and microwave until it simmers. Pull all the pears out and puree in the food processor with a bit of fresh water until the consistency is right. put in ice cube tray, put tray in ziplock back, and freeze.

same process for apples.

i dont ever microwave anything i make,..i buy organic, i wait until theyre ripe, i put about an inch of water in a big pot, i boil the water, add peeled pieces of pears (id do about 4 pears at a clip) boil until theyre very soft (maybe 7 minutes IF that..then i puree them, and add some of the water i boiled them in, to put back in the nutrients that mayve been left in the water..
then i spoon them into ice trays, and freeze them, pop them all out into ziplocks, and when i started she was getting 1 per serving..shes up to 2-3 now.

the only fruit/veggie i dont boil first, are mangoes and avocado..peaches, you dont skin them, you put them whole in a pot of water and cut lil "x"'s into the bottoms of them so the skin will peel back in one piece..

fm if you have any other questions!!
excited for you!! its fun!!
