anybody experience this?

today me & Dh BD'd. Not for 'conceiving' purposes since I'm only 5 days away from my period (and probably 9 DPO). Right afterwards there was very slight bleeding only when I wiped. Very odd. I heard it could possibly be due to being a little too 'dry'. We definitely don't have any issues (like stds or anything) and this is not something that has ever happened before. I'm sure it's fine. I'm wearing a panty liner now tho just in case, but it definitely made me go Chat Icon

Re: anybody experience this?

If you haven't BD'ed since AF, it could be a little leftover from that. Sometimes that happens to me up to a few days after AF.

Or else the BDing could have irritated you down there and its from that.

well we've definitely BD'd quite a few times since AF a few weeks ago, so it can't be that. But i do wonder if something got irritated since it was kind of a quickie and I might have been a little 'dryer' that usual (TMI i know). But nothing hurt either like I'd think it would. It's gone now though. It was just very very mild yesterday for a few hours. Hm.

That did cross my mind as well. It wasn't red at all - just kinda pink. So maybe! AF is due on Wednesday so I'll test then and see. But DH feels like he may have just been a little too 'rough'. Not sure.

Re: anybody experience this?

well i just 'cheated' by POAS early and got a BFN Chat Icon It's still about 3 or 4 days before AF is due, so I'll test again later this week, but it's probably a no-go. Don't know what that bleeding was then. Hmm.

Re: anybody experience this?

TMI Bandwagon...

This has happened enough in the past that I can kind of call it normal. Usually it occurs when there has been a gap in BDing (for me). So I believe it could be either from BDing OR implantation spotting. I've never had implantation spotting, but many have.

My best advice is don't get your hopes up (too high) in case it was just some BD related injury . Chat Icon

Re: anybody experience this?

I wouldn't read too much into it (although I know it's hard). I've had that happen to me, can be from being dry, too much friction, if there's water involved.

Re: anybody experience this?

thanks for your input on what it could possibly be. It really only lasted a few hours that day only when I wiped but it didn't hurt at all (which made me skeptical on how it could be due to BDing - only because you would think that if I were too dry or if it were some other 'injury', it should feel soar right?). It was a very odd thing that never happened before.

As PP said, it actually could possibly be due to a bit of a 'hiatus' though. I hadn't even considered that. So maybe.

LOL I totally misread what you were saying. I thought you were on CD9, not 9DPO. Anyway, even with the BFN, your not out yet!

haha... yes it's been weeks since AF. dh would be sad if we held out that long. lol.

Thanks for the babydust- I have to admit that I was very disappointed by the BFN this morning, since I really thought it might be. But I know that I tested earlier than I should have - so there's still some hope. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
