Once you send in everything for certification how long does it take to get your certificate?

i got mine in a few weeks like 3-4 weeks

it's albany so it could be awhile! if you have ALL your ducks in a row, you should get it within 6 weeks. also, if your university if sending it out for you, that helps speed it up a bit because they make sure everything is all set up.

i found when i did a renewal and a name change on-line through the TEACH account, that helped speed things up.

ugh - I was the worst case scenario.

I didn't go through my school, b/c I was too lazy to drive to QC and I was too cheap to pay them the extra $40. BIG MISTAKE. NYS said it could take 18 weeks! (4ish months) I applied in Jan (after 4 months, I called every month checking on the status - it was always "on someone's desk"). When Sept came along and I hadn't heard anything, my school district stepped in and got an answer in ONE DAY!

but on a brighter side...when I got my permanant certification for my original certification it was super quick.
