nanny cameras

I am going back to work in September and want to know if any mommies out there have used nanny cams in their homes. My husband and I hired someone that we don't know personally (I know this sounds nuts) but her references were excellent and she seems so wonderful.
I want to put cameras in the house because I am uneasy about leaving my child and not knowing what's going on during the day. Does anyone have any good advice on cameras or do I sound like a crazy person? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I will ask DH he is a security istaller and specializes on cameras. :)

I want to as well. We will be hiring someone soon too and want to install a nanny cam.

I used nanny cams with the first sitter. I even told her about it. It was only set up in two rooms. And, I did witness something I wasn't very happy about. I'm glad I used them, especially since I didnt know her personally. The sitter she has now is absolutely wonderful. She goes to her house, so I can't use the cameras. I have to say, it did make me go crazy to watch all the tapes, but in the end, it was worth it.
