We are going Delta. There will be 4 of us and 4 peices of luggage checked in. Wondered if I have to pay for the checked in luggage and how much. I have read the website and it has confused me-lol!! Thanks :)

Re: Airplane Luggage ???
For domestic travel:
If you check in online, the fee is $15 for the first bag each person checks. $25 for the second bag each.
If you check in at the airport, it's $20 for the first bag, $30 for the second.
There's a 50 pound weight limit.

My dh said that but I don't think the luggage is small enough to carry on. I might be able to have less luggage as we won't be packing as much as we did going on a cruise last year. We are only bringing one pair of sneakers and flip flops each instead of sneakers, flip flops, sandals, dress shoes for each person. We also don't have to bring dress up clothes.

Yep, we just flew Delta last week and this was the case for us. We were able to check in online before we left, so we each paid $15 our 1 bag, but going home we checked in at the airport, and paid $20 for each of our bags.

Re: Airplane Luggage ???
remember though, if you choose to make anything a carry on, they still have the liquids rule (must be under 3oz and in ziplock) and you can't bring things like tweezers, razors, etc. on the plane, so put that stuff in the bag you check

Re: Airplane Luggage ???
Most airlines stopped the first bag free sometime last year.
You can bring shaving razors in your carry on - just not razor blades. I think tweezers are ok now too but, I'm not 100% sure.
TSA Link
Each traveller is allowed one carry on and one personal item (purse, briefcase, backpack, etc).
Here is Delta's baggage policy
