i cant stand that when I tell people my due date they say, I hope you have the baby before 12/31 so you can get your tax write off
that makes me sooo mad

- Oh you didn't want to be surprised ( when I tell them I am having a boy)- Um surprise , its a baby and its either a boy or a girl. shocking
- Oh you are going back to work? I wouldn't want a stranger raising my kids. - Um no one raises my child but me and DH
- Oh you are due the end of August, its going to be hot - yes genius, summers are hot for everyone, just like winters are cold. Thanks for stating the obvious !

My cousin was trying to convince me to breastfeed last week. I was like that is my decision, and nothing that you say will change my mind, if I have already thought this through.
Then she told me not to lay on my one side because it will cut off the baby's blood flow and he'll die.
Who says that! First of all, you aren't a doctor, get your facts straight, second, you never talk about a baby dying.

I get a lot of "wow you are huge" and "twins?" but what irritates me the most is "get your sleep now"
That really gets under my skin. As if being pregnant isn't hard enough I have to have people freaking me out about never being able to sleep when the baby is born! I can't sleep now thank you very much!

That's so true! People ask but they don't really want to hear the answer.
So true... I never have anything nice to say either... I've felt like crap most of this pregnancy but no one wants to hear it... so please do us both a favor and don't ask unless you want to hear me complain!

"When are you due? Oh My Gawd, you're so big already. Could it be twins?"
"Wow, your boobs are huge".
"I can tell, yup, it's a girl, you're carrying all in your face. Girls steal your beauty".
I should keep a running list of these atrocities.....Mind you, I'm 5'1 and weighed 108 when we conceived. I gained 18lbs at 26 weeks.......is that really terrible? People are so ignorant. MYOB!

I'm sorry but I think it's another girl.
Makes me so mad!!!!
This bothered me a lot too. everyone assumed i wanted a boy the second time, and had no problem saying I hope this one's a boy. the worst was FH's mom after we found out it was another girl. she actually stomped her feet and said shucks made some dissatisfied sound and said oh well. i was MAD! i dont care what anyone else wants...none of this is about them or what they want. i wanted a healthy baby and didn't care if it was a boy or girl, but am THRILLED to be having another healthy girl and think it's so wonderful that DD is going to have a sister.

Me: No, they really can't tell yet.

Yes, but you were really skinny in this picture!
I am thinking-gee, thanks buddy for telling me what a whale I am.

I really hate this: You better rest now, because you are going to never sleep
Oh don't worry honey about gaining weight, you will lose it all when the baby is screaming so much that you won't have time to eat and you will look in the mirror at 1pm, be in dirty pajamas with your hair looking like a rats nest.
Mmm-sexy! Jeez, do these people have to be such a buzz kill?
