OBGYN question
Hi, my husband and I are trying to have a baby and I was looking for a new doctor. I live around Massapequa. Who is your doctor, do you like them, What hospital did you deliver at, and did you like that hospital. Also, I have GHI. I would really appreciate your help on this.

I live in Massapequa as well and I go to University Plaza OB in Garden City and so far, I am very happy  I have BC/BS so I would call about the insurance.
They deliver at Winthrop FM me if you need more info!!

i live in massapequa also and go to dr hanauer in garden city. ahe delivers at winthrop. i love her! theres only one other male dr in practice; dr dolisi , so its not like a factoey like many other offices. she is such a great dr who has so much bedside manner and is so sweet and caring and knowledgable...

IDK if he takes GHI - but you can call, the staff is unbelievably helpful... I go to Dr. Richard J. Trongone up in Manhasset. I live in Wantagh and the ride isn't bad. He has late (like after 7pm) hours and is ALWAYS available to talk to.
He delivers at North Shore LIJ (Manhasset).

i go to university plaza too. they definitely take GHI and they're awesome.

I use Dr. Ammirata at South Bay ObGyn in West Islip. I have been using her for 5 years and am very, very happy with her. She delivers at God Sam. FM me any questions. Good luck!

I live in Massapequa also and go to Garden City OB/GYN. I am using Melanie Sumersille who is a midwife that works under Dr. Seth Plancher, and they're both great! Melanie came highly recommended by a couple of ladies on these boards, and she delivers at Winthrop. Good luck!

If you are up for the drive: I can't say enough about Dr. Kiran Trivedi. He is in Islip. I live in West Babylon, it's about 12 minutes from me (Sunrise Hwy).
He just opened the practice about a year or so ago, and he and his staff are wonderful. And yes, he takes GHI.

I live in n mass and see dr klein/egre in massapequa (on broadway)... they are out of good sam... loved good sam for my 1st preg just hated the dr (dr david also in n massapequa) who delivered....

She delivered my DS at Good Sam and I must say the birth was amazing. I was so freaked out walking into it. But the staff was amazing at good sam and at South bay OBGYN.
