I gave him puppy chow food this morning and he seems to like it. I gave him a little water too. When should we feed him? In the morning and at night? Or in the afternoon too?

You should make sure you feed him in a similar schedule to the one he was used to. Most young pups need to eat more than once a day. Try not to vary his food type. At 5 months with such a small dog I think twice a day is ok but maybe a small dog owner could chime it.
I train dogs part time so feel free to FM any questions.
Congrats and give the little guy a tickle beind the ears for me.

Congrats!
I would love to get a dog... but i won't be able to get a dog until i eventually retire from DJing.
I can't count on my wife to constantly have to take care of the dog while I am out working.

Nope she was feeding him Eikanuba, Imes and Deli Cat - Dont ask he likes it lol
So it is ok that I switched his food then, right? I will keep him on the puppy chow then - was it a good choice? It was all they had at 7-11

eek, did they give some of his food to feed him? you should keep him on what he is used to and slowly mix in the other food you want to eventually have him on.
My dogs all love Eukanuba small breed, and yes they love the Deli Cat, and so does my cat, he isn't too happy to share his food with the dogs.

Well I have had him eating the puppy chow and he likes it. He eats those Meat Sticks - Like Raw Hyde and we gave him a dog biscuit yesterday - which he liked too.
No pictures yet. My friends came over yesterday to see the dog - so I didnt get time to take any pics.
Tonight we have James, our nephew sleeping over and tomorrow my sisters kids are coming by to see the pup.
