For those with psoriasis.
Do you go for any special spa treatments?? I have gift cards for facials and massages so I was wondering if there is anything out there that might help the condition or should I just go for a regular treatment?

Re: For those with psoriasis.
I've gone for scalp treatment at a spa. thats where my psoriasis is the worst.
I get it very mildly on my hip/stomach area and thats about it.
I didnt notice much difference after the scalp treatment though.

Re: For those with psoriasis.
my mom has psoriasis extremely bad -- to the point where her skin and scalp bleed. nothing has helped her she has tried everything but i don't think she has ever done any sort of spa treatments nor were any recommended to her.
my godmother also has it extremely bad ALL over her body. the only thing that works for her is tanning beds. again, there is the skin cancer risk, but it's the only thing that gives her any relief. i think you would have to judge how bad your case is before you go that route.

Re: For those with psoriasis.
I have never found ANYTHING that has worked effectively...I'm sure a spa treatment might feel nice, but I'm not sure it will alleviate your symptoms in the long run
