I just say, "This is (name)" ... boring! ;) I have a dedicated line, so if you are calling you are probably calling for me.

My name. Either "Kara [Last]" or "This is Kara"
However, I have caller ID -- so if I don't recognize the number, 99% of the time I just let my secretary pick up. She answers the phone "Kara [Last]'s office." When I know who's calling, I usually just say "Hi [name]."

If we anwer a ringing phone we say, thank you for calling COMPANY, this is NAME, how may I help you.
If someone tells me its for me, I just say, Hello, this is NAME.
Just in case I pick up the wrong line.
Ditto on both accounts.

I want to shorten to Kimberly speaking but I do like the good morning/afternoon thrown in.

"Good Morning/Afternoon, COMPANY NAME , COMPANY LOCATION, This is MYNAME speaking, how may I help you today?
By the time we say the company name, they are already interrupting us!

DH say "Hello, this is John" even on his cell (he uses that mostly for business)
I say Good Morning/Afternoon Library...then I see the green light flick and say it again...then I finally hear the call transfer in and say it one more time.

Usually just first and last name. Sometimes I say "This is Sally"
If it is a friend or family member (i have caller id) I just say hello.

I freelance out of my house now, most communication is via email, but if someone calls I say just 'hello' since I use my cell as a work phone.
When I was in an office I said "This is Jeannine" The company I worked for didn't have direct lines or automated phone systems; every call had to be answered by a secretary and then sent to the appropriate person. I would say my name just in case I picked up the wrong line.
