Re: Classics....

I go back and read classics occasionally. I love Ernest Hemingway and Jane Austen. I tried reading Robinson Crusoe but just couldn't finish it.

Re: Classics....

I just found out I have to teach Little Women with my TAG kids next year, so I really want to get back into it!

Re: Classics....

I re-read To Kill a Mockingbird and Little Women every once in a while.

One of the classics I really love is A Seperate Peace.

I like most of Jane Austen's books as well.

I just got a few Austen books from Amazon, they had a buy 3 get 1 free or some such. Plus, I just read The Jane Austen Book Club and while I hated the book itself, it did get me curious about Austen! Chat Icon

I love Jane Austen and John Steinback. "The Woman in White" by Wilkie Collins is very entertaining once you get used to the writing style, and "Washington Square" by Henry James is always a fun read.

If you like poetry, I recommend "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman and anything by John Keats.
