moving forward
Well I survived the DVC on NYE... I was truly so petrified of the anesthesia.. maybe Iv'e seen too much Grey's Anatomy! It was a combination of sadness, numbness and fear. I felt gradually better as the day went on. I really have had little to no bleeding?? I really dislike the antibiotics I am taking and have had more stomach cramps and almost constipation ( sorry TMI) than anything else.. did anyone else have this? I am a bit concerned that I am not bleeding....
I know it will be a while for AF with the new year I am considering YOGA and or ACUPUNCTURE what are your thoughts on these and where do you go? We live on the north shore of LI but I can travel (-:

Re: moving forward
I have heard acupuncture is GREAT! I was really considering it, but I have to see if my insurance covers it. I could ask my friend where she goes if you are interested...FM me if you are. I think meds make you constipated. I know I get that way when I take pain meds. I bled more after taking the meds to miscarry then I did with the D&C. I think a lot of the blood comes out (not to be gross) I hope you can begin to heal now.

Re: moving forward
I think the yoga and accupuncture are both great ideas. I have done both, although the acupuncture was done before I was ttc and had a mc. I did acupuncture at New York Health College in Syosset. It was $30 or $25 for a one hour session. The yoga I took at my gym, La Fitness, and at adult ed at my local HS.

Re: moving forward
I am glad everything went well and you now can move on. I think once you have the D&C it now allows you to heal.
I have heard great things about Yoga and Acupuncture. I haven't personally tried them but maybe will consider.

Re: moving forward
I never tried yoga or acupuncture, but I agree that they sound like great ideas.

Re: moving forward
You will feel fine as the days go by. I feel great now its been 2 1/2 weeks. It will get better and hopefully the hopes of you trying again will help you through it .
I have not heard anything about yoga and acupuncture helping...I would consider anything that alieviates stress!

Re: moving forward
Im glad everything went well The anesthesia was my biggest fear too.
I just went for my post-op appt today and everything looked good. I had very little bleeding with this d&c. Practically none right after the surgery, then it got a little heavy about 5 days later but then nothing and now Im not bleeding at all.
Im happy you were able to get this over with before the new year started! Now only good things lie ahead!!
