Maternity Swimwear
Ok- major help needed. I'm currently 16 weeks and have been given the go-ahead to do some light lap swimming. And, since I've already gained 15 pounds and have a little bump, I need a maternity swimsuit. Any ideas?? Nothing fancy, but something that will keep me in (my bb's are massive right now) and be comfortable for light exercise. I look online but have no way to gauge how well they'll work!! TIA!!!

Re: Maternity Swimwear
Some of the maternity stores may have them in stock already since spring is around the corner. I would also try Target.
I would also try on some plus size swimsuits. Since your bb's are big also, this might work out.

Re: Maternity Swimwear
I got a Liz Lange tankini from Target that I really love. Although now at almost 32 weeks, you can see a little belly! But it was on sale, so that is important.

I got my bathing suit at Kohls in the Women's section. Mind you it was last July. They had a better selection then the maternity section.

Re: Maternity Swimwear
thanks!! I'll start searching more... parenting.com had a great slideshow of cute maternity suits but the place I'm going to be swimming at the University where DH works and it's all about serious swimmers... I can't exactly go gliding down the lane wearing a red/white gingham suit!! I want to get one soon, since I'm convinced that I'm going to sink with all of this extra weight :) Speedo used to make a maternity line, but no more... I'm on a mission now!
