Maternity swimwear, I cannot believe I am asking this question
I never thought I'd be caught dead wearing a swim suit while pregnant, BUT...
I want to get DD a little baby pool this summer and I'll only wear it in my backyard...
where can you find inexpesive maternity swim wear???
I don't even want to wear shorts this summer.

I already tried Target in Westbury - no dice.
Is it too early maybe? I find their selection to leave much to be desired in the maternity section. I'll try Old Navy.

Old Navy swimwear
I have the black bikini bottoms in XL. I am a size 16 and they fit well, I used them to replace a pair of motherood maternity bottoms that I wore out from my last PG. Since the top was still in good condition I did not get one. I love to swim.
Target Swimwear
ETA: I am still wearing my regular non maternity bathingsuit from last summer. I take DS for weekly swim lessions and it still fits. I am 12 weeks. I can see it fitting me for a few more weeks before I have to break out the maternity suit.

Re: Maternity swimwear, I cannot believe I am asking this question
Target had some cute simple tankinis this week. I just looked at them but did not check the prices as I am no where near ready to think about it. But I'm sure they wouldn't be too pricey at Target.

Re: Maternity swimwear, I cannot believe I am asking this question
I didn't think to check plus size, not sure if that would fit me right.
I'm a little afraid to order on line for this b/c I have no idea what size I'd be. Prior to the pregnancy I was about a size 8 or 10. I have no idea what size I'd need by the time I'll need it. With my DD made the mistake of shopping based on my pre-preg size, but it didn't account for my going up 2 cup sizes and nothing fit by the start of the third trimester. I wanted to start DD in swim class in May, I'll get a maternity suit then - and wear a t-shirt or something over it so I feel more comfortable.
I even asked someone who worked at Target and they just looked at me with that "deer in headlights" blank stare. I never find maternity clothes there. I have to take a trip to Motherhood/Mimi Maternity anyway in Manhasset to get some skirt and tops for work, so while I'm there I'll shop for a suit. I just hate the pushy sales people at that store. I never go to the Pea in a Pod side, but they push and push, so annoying.

Re: Maternity swimwear, I cannot believe I am asking this question
I wanted a tankini to wear to the gym pool and went to target and just bought one in a bigger size. Easy peasy and less expensive than the maternity ones.
