Mine has been feeling like that from week 8 and I'm 13weeks now. I mentioned to the Dr and she wasn't concerned but also didnt have any recommendations!

Re: Tailbone
Yes this happens sometimes..the baby is probably sitting on your sciatica nerve... I have previous tailbone issues...so its just painful!

Re: Tailbone
I definitely had that in the first tri and beginning of 2nd. It's gone now, but a whole new set of aches & pains is here!
Try to sit on pillows, sleep with a small one under that part of your back and ask DH to rub it!!

Re: Tailbone
I had a lot of back pain inthe beginning and middle. i eventually saw a physical therapist and it helped a lot! I still get some back pain, but not nearly as bad.

Re: Tailbone
I sit a lot at work and I use a special cushion on my chair that has a small cutout in the back, where your tailbone is when you sit.
If it wasn't for that cushion, I would NEVER make it the whole day!!!! You should look into it!

Re: Tailbone
I am happy i am not the only one! I knew the sciatica issue was normal but now the tailbone thing is just plain old annoying. My OB said buy the body pillow and that was about it. Thanks for all the suggestions.
