i need prayers.... but not the serious kind.... UPDATE: I CHICKENED OUT
as soon as i have the courage to get my azz out of bed, i will be taking myself to the salon. i need a haircut, but i'm not sure i have the strength to go for something different.
i've had roughly the same look since i was a sophomore in high school: long big hair.
UPDATE: i chickened out. when i got to the salon, i noticed that my hairdresser was in a fight (over the phone) with her kids... so i decided it would be safer to just get a trim and a blow out.
i promise to find the courage to get a real haircut before the spring starts

Its very freeing to cut your hair off- do it! Its only hair it will grow back!

Good Luck, You probably will cry because you haven't cut your hair in a Longtime! But you will be fine and i'm sure the haircut will look absolutely stunning on you.

I know the feeling! I always felt nervous getting my hair cut hoping they wouldn't cut it too short...
I grew my hair (a trim here and there) for my Wedding to the middle of my back.
4 days after the wedding and 1 day into the Honeymoon, I cut the sucker off!! It was a great feeling!!!

I cut my hair in the fall and it was the BEST feeling in the world to go short!
Im actually going to make an appointment to get it done again!

If I saw anyone about to come near me with a pair of scissors after having some kind of verbal altercation, I would definitely opt out of a 'major' cut!!!!!!!  You did the right thing! There's always next time!!
