one swing or 2?

So my shower was last weekend and I got soo much stuff i dont know what o do with it all lol. I got 2 swings (different ones) and the soothing newborn glider . Do I really need all of them with twins? or should i return one? Which one would you return, I know they ony fit in them for so long so i'd hate to have them ony used it once or twice.

Re: one swing or 2?

The 2 swings were a LIFESAVER for me. Seriously. They loved those things and would spend hours in them as newborns. One day one of our swings died and I almost had a panic attack. I had to get a new one ASAP.

The day I put them away (when they were a little over 10 months) was a sad one.

For me, I originally had 1 swing, 1 soothing motions glider and 2 bouncy seats.

IMO 2 swings are a MUST - I had to get another cause both babies love the swing -- they rotate in the bouncy seats but my DS will take his best naps in the swing. DD started loving it recently too so I got another.
My kids, and I know all kids are different, but neither likes the soothing motions glider.

Really? Mine aren't crazy about the swing, its kind of hit or miss here. Maybe they are still too little?

All kids are different, but what swing do you have? Mine loved those things from pretty much the beginning. Also, we had to put it on the highest speed or they didn't like it. I know it looks like some crazy carnival ride like that but it put them to sleep like nothing else at your babies' age.

I have two - the Boppy Rock in Comfort travel swing and the Graco Silhouette. I am always afraid to turn it all the way up because I feel like it will make them barf but I will definitely try it. Thanks!

DS started liking it about 5-6weeks and DD didn't like it til about 9-10 weeks. The only one they like is the fisher price take along! I have the graco Silhouette too and it is not a big hit around here. I actually just put it in my basement.

And i agree....wait til its a bit after they have eaten and crank the speedChat Icon

Re: one swing or 2?

Orignally I only had a travel one from my brother. They didn't love it so I put it away. I recently brought it back out and they both love it. If one was in and the other one was in the bouncy seat she would just stare at the swing and it made me feel so guilty so I went out and bought another swing.
