Speech Teacher
Hi ladies!
I recently graduated with my masters degree in speech-language pathology and was wondering if anyone knows of any schools (nassau, queens or brooklyn) that are hiring or are in need of an SLP.

i'm an SLP at a school in NJ, so i can't help you with jobs... but just wanted to say good luck!!! its a great career and i really do have fun with it and enjoy going to work everyday. the worst part is all the paperwork and staying organized with that! i've been working in schools for 6 years, so feel free to ask any questions or vent or whatever anytime

Have you looked in to doing EI? We always need SLP's!
I would look at the local special ed pre schools in your area as well.

I actually have an interview next week with an agency but I only know of a few...kidztherapy, theracare and first steps.
im sure there are plenty more...

Speeh is actually considered to be a shortage are for NYC schools. I'm sure u will have no problem getting a job with the city.
