Has anyone ever had a Thyriod Biopsy??
They found a Nodule on my Thyriod and I have to have a biospy....Im a nervous wreck!!
What can I expect?

DH had one done.
I just asked him and he basically said that they take a needle, stick it in your neck where the thyroid is and take a sample that way.
He said it just felt weird. When I asked him if it hurt he said it was not much worse than going to the dentist and having them poke around in your mouth!

My sister had this done (the same sister with the cyst/ovary). She had to have a cyst removed from her thyroid. She's been on medication ever since to try and regulate her thyroid. It sucks.

like 4 times this year.
it's not so bad; just take some advil afterwards; your neck may be a little sore.
my nodule grew from 2.8 cm to now 5 cm and has to be removed.
