WWYD? also posted in parenting...
In 2005 I was in my second to last semester of the Nursing Program at NCC and I missed my semester by 1 point, met DH and never went back. I kick myself for it every day.
Now almost 5 years later, I applied to Molloy College for their Cardiovascular Tech Program (2 year program) and they called me last night to come in for an interview tomorrow.
Today I called NCC and they said in October I could apply for the Nursing Program for January as a change of area but would be starting from scratch (also 2 year RN) program.
Both programs are 2 years WHICH ONE WOULD YOU DO?!
Being in the evening program of nursing back then I was consumed by it. I worked full time went straight to work and would get home from the hospital at 11. That was before a child and husband. I am terrified that i won't see DD ever but I know I need to do something else i can't stand the desk job, i've been at my current job for 10 years and am done...ok i needed to vent on her and you ladies tend to always give great advise. Thanks if you got this far!!

if you can definitely get into the nursing program at ncc you should, but i heard they get 800 - 1200 applicants for 150 spots.

I would have to agree with the above poster and say try for NCC. Molloy's tuition is $$$, and I would think that the demand for a nurse is higher than cardiovascular tech.
If you don't get into NCC, then you can pursue Molloy.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
