I have a cup of decaf almost every day. I kinda hoped I would be able to cut it down to every other day or three times a week but that has not happened. I coffee way too much!
Types the pregnant lady who is currently sipping on the last of her medium decafe hazelnut D & D iced coffee.
But if it's decaf you can have as much as you want, no?

I drink a cup a day - Dr's orders actually.
I really can't imgaine what harm a cup of caffeine a day can do. I'd like to see some scientific proof of this.
Ditto...and some days I have 2 cups...also ok'd by my OB.

Re: Who still drinks coffee?
i have a cup of coffee everyday. i didnt during the first trimester but mostly because i had such an aversion to it. however the last couple of months (i am 25 weeks) i am back to a cup a day.
as almost everyone else here has said i think in moderation its ok.

Yes, and my OBGYN is not opposed to me having the occassional regular cup of coffee.
I'm just a nut and was hoping I could cut back while pregnant.

Re: Who still drinks coffee?
I have at least one cup of coffee everyday. In the 1st trimester I didn't have it that often b/c I had such awful m/s I didn't want it. Lately I have been having two ice coffees a day. I don't drink any other caffeinated beverages so I am not worried about it. Also I make it at home w/ the Keurig so I know I am only having one serving of coffee per cup. I add lots of ice and some half & half.

Re: Who still drinks coffee?
I drink a cup a day. Now, as far as how large the cup is, that is a whole other issue.

Re: Who still drinks coffee?
enjoying a cup right now! Although I do try to have decaf as much as possible, if I am out, I will have a cup of regular, no problem.

Re: Who still drinks coffee?
Drank coffee everday with both pregnancies - i am always in awe that pregnant women can function without caffeine.
