i had mine yesterday. I glad its over too. i was worried it would hurt and stuff but the dr who did it so awesome and i didnt feel a thing. the shot in my butt after the procedure hurt more.

the dr told me i had to get the rogan shot bc my blood type is neg and my DH is postive so that the baby can be either or and they wont be able to tell til the do the amino. so they gave me the shot so that my body wont produce antibodies and attack the baby. women are suppose to get after they give birth if thier blood type is different from thier hubbys bc after the baby is born your body produces antibodies against ur hubbys blood type and can making getting or staying preggers the next time? did you see a genetic cousler before the amino they are suppose to ask u and your hubbys blood type. they made the biggest deal where i went about the blood type.

yes, i am a- and dh is o+ and i got the rogam shot with DS but they didnt say i needed one with amnio
they said i would get it at 24 weeks

that exactly what me and and my hubby are. you probably didnt need the shot bc you already had one. i never had one before so thats probably why they told me i had to get one. i have to get another one but not til im later in the pregnancy bc i just got it.
