Re: Recipes for a Cocktail Party -
This bruschetta recipe isn't complicated and people really enjoy it.
Double Tomato Bruschetta
Fried ravioli is another tasty one - you just get square ravioli from any pork store, and dip them in buttermilk and coat with seasoned breadcrumbs. They can be breaded hours earlier and then drop the ravioli in a frying pan 2 min on each side and it's quick. (You can even get the marinara from the pork store and just heat it up before you serve the ravioli).

Spanikopita (sp?) is so good. You can buy them pre-made or get the filo dough, feta and spinach and make it yourself. Mini-rice balls are great, empenadas ( I can't spell today) and I will try to think of more.

Re: Recipes for a Cocktail Party -
I always make little smokies as an appetizer and they're usually a big hit. It's basically 2 packages of cocktail hotdogs and enough bbq sauce to coat them. IMO it comes out best with any of the jack daniels bbq sauces. Just put it all in the crockpot until the hotdogs are heated through. Serve with toothpicks.
