Passing along resumes...
If you work for a company, do you get annoyed if someone asks you to pass along a resume for their friend/relative?
My boss just asked me to forward his daughter's resume to a friend of DH's that works in the industry she wants to break into. Personally it doesnt bother me, I've done it plenty of times. But I wonder if people would get annoyed at that kind of thing.

I don;t mind passing one along as long as the person knows that I am not guaranteeing them getting an interview or anything.

Same here. I will also often give people (like on this site for example) the information of where I work but not disclose my name because I don't know anyone on this site enough to make a recommendation.
There are people I know IRL that I would lie and say I passed along their resume if they asked me.

I have, but I make it clear that I know nothing of their work ethic, etc, but that dad is an upstanding guy...or something like that.

I have no problem with it.
I won't pass on a crappy resume though.
