window prices
Is $1,600 an outrageous price for a window (one window)? I thought it was crazy but my husband says that's how much a good quality window with is. Can someone tell me if this is average. It's an anderson & it includes everything (privacy glass, warranty, tax, installation)

Re: window prices
What is the size?. What style? Where is it going? Replacement window or are you changing the size of the opening. Example: Casement, window, 48 x 48 size, in 2nd floor frame house. Arthur

Re: window prices
Sorry, i didn't give too much detail, I was too upset over the price. It is a custom replacement window. 30x35", oak, removable wood grid, double hung...I think that's all the words I remember them saying. The problem was that we called a million places & everyone laughed at us when we said we only wanted 1 window, they all had a minimum of 4 windows.
