Bumps on arms
I seem to be getting these little bumps on the back of my arms lately. It's not really body acne, more like little tiny clogged pores. .
I've been using Peter Thomas Roth body cleanser with salycilic acid, but can anyone recommend a good treatment for this?
TIA

Re: Bumps on arms
Could be a form of keratosis, you can get lac hydrin at cvs. It used to be prescription but now its over the counter. My dermatologist had recommended this years ago, it helps a lot. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Bumps on arms
it's keratosis which is extremely common. my derm recommended eucerin. the alpha hydroxy acid exfoliates them away. i've been using it for a couple of months now and noticed a huge improvement.

Re: Bumps on arms
Thanks Ladies! I didn't realize it was actually a condition that was common. I'm going to try a few of your OTC suggestions and if that doesn't help, I'll visit my derm

Re: Bumps on arms
I have it too. My arms are not only bumpy but very red. I tried KP duty by dermadoctor and it did not work for me. Every once and a while I get inspired to do a search and try something new. I read this thread yesterday so I looked around online. There is something called Dream Cream by Lush that seems to get good reviews. I think I'll try this next. I'll let you know how it works for me.

Re: Bumps on arms
OMG, I never knew what this was, I thought I was the only one who had it
But mine seems to come and go with intensity, sometimes I can really feel it, sometimes not so much.

Re: Bumps on arms
I too thought I was alone!
My MIL gave me something from Avon - Moisture Therapy Skin Bump Minimizer. I haven't been using it but I will start.
I will update with my results in about a week.
