UTI without symptoms?

I went for my annual physical a few weeks ago, and my urinalysis showed that I had white blood cells in my urine. I went for a follow up urinalysis, and my doctor's office called to say that I had a UTI and that they are prescribing Levaquin for 5 days. I have absolutely no symptoms. I have always been a frequent urinator, and have no pain.

Has anyone else had a UTI without symptoms? Was it treated easily. I've never had a UTI before, as far as I'm aware, but now, who knows?

ETA: I'm sure this is all related to TTC and the increase in . It's just so frustrating in addition to AF seeming like she's coming any minute.

I quite frequenly get UTI's w/o symptoms. I would agree to that it is caused by lots of .

Levaquin is a great antibiotic and will clear it up fairly quickly. It is strong and I would reccomend eating some yogart to avoid a yeast infection.

I had 2 while TTC, but a few months back, I had a u/a done and it said I had protein and blood in urine. My dr's office called me to ask if I had symptoms. I didn't have any.
So they retested the urine (sent it out the lab) and it came back normal. I don't think I got a "clean catch" so it could've screwed up the results. If you're really feeling no symptoms, can you ask them to send it for a culture before you start meds?
