Is this normal or possible UTI (re: VERY early symptoms)

Hi ladies! I just found out I am pg with #2 on Monday. Af however was not due until today. Starting yesterday I have had period like cramps in my very lower abdomen and lower back - sometimes the cramps almost feel like a pressure feeling in my lower middle stomach. I am also peeing LIKE CRAZY.

When I was pg with DS I felt NO symptoms this early on - so I am worried that this isn't the baby growing but, maybe a UTI? I have only had one UTI in my life and it felt awful and nothing like this HOWEVER, I remember last pregnancy the OB telling me the symptoms would be different when pg.

cramping is normal in early pregnancy but, I would call for a urine culture. UTI's are very common. But, so are the symptoms you are describing.

THIS is how you TELL ME!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!

Cramping in the beginning is completely normal I had cramps from weeks 4-6 with both pregnancies. You could have a UTI though - I did right before I found out (but I had frequency) - but it never hurts to call and ask the OB.

I have one now and thats how I feel.

TONS of pressure down there and A LOT of cramping...ongoing cramping. And pain in my lower back.

I would check with the DR.
