Worried about next year....
I got a call today from the principal's secretary. He wants to meet with me about next year.
I'm very close to the bottom seniority wise. Last year I was actually excessed then re-hired.
Just in case, I might as well start looking. Anyone know if their district is hiring? I'm certified in Social Studies 5-12 and Special Education 5-12.
I hate having to go through this yet again....

Our rep said they have 10 working days to pass a budget...June 1st starts the fiscal emergency and people will be laid off. Some may be hired back but not until the budget passes....which some fear could be as late as November because it is an election year. Also city is doing a 2 for 1 buyout of days in your CAR
