Questions about FET

I have 6 frozen embryos as of right now. I am wondering what the FET process entails. We are trying to plan ahead to see when we should start the process. What type of injections/meds if any are involved? How many do they usually transfer (I will be 32)? Any other info would be great! TIA!

I recently had my first FET so I can answer some of your questions. I found the FET to be A LOT easier than the IVF cycle... My protocol required Lovenox injections (this was due to my miscarriage from my IVF) and a few pills. I also had to do progesterone shots for a week leading to the FET. It didnt require that many visits for blood and sono and after you get your period i would say its about 2 weeks for transfer with the 2 ww for beta.

We transfered 2 back (I'm 26).

My RE is having me take Estace patches and PIO when we start my cycle....He asked how many we want to transfer, I said one and he was happy with that (I'm 35)He said start to transfer is 19 days or so

Just finished my first FET. It is sooooo much better than a Fresh cycle

I was on BCP first to bring on my period, then I had to have a water sono to make sure there was no damage to my uterus from when I was pregnant with DD.

Lupron shots
Estrace pills (taken vaginally since they weren't working for me orally)
5 days before FET I started PIO
Continued on Estrace and PIO until my BETA.
