girls who saw an RE or MFS after 2 or more losses....

Is it normal to be afraid of what they might find? My appt. with the Maternal Fetal Specialist in June 14th and as the day gets closer and closer I feel my anxiety fetting worse. I'm just so afraid that they will find something wrong with me and I won't be able to have kids. Am I being irrational? I'm just so afraid of hearing more bad news.

I'm praying everyday that if they find something it can be somewhat easily corrected bc I'm terrified of never having kids.

I try to tell myself that the odds are in my favor that I will eventually have a child but it's hard to stay in that positive place after going through 2 losses

I was terrified when going to the RE. I wasn't sure what I would be in for and what my results would be. All I knew was I was terrified of needles and said "I HOPE I DONT NEED ANY INJECTIONS!!". I was so overwhelmed when hearing I needed to take Lovenox ( that was exactly what I didn't want to hear). I was even a little resistant on doing so.

However, once I started I realized it isn't as painful as I thought and it has become a simple routine for me now. If it wasn't for all the medicine, I prob wouldn't be 12 weeks pregnant today.

I remembered going to my 1st appt. I was so hopeful and relieved after walking in for that first visit. Basically the RE reviewed every possible cause of Recurrent Miscarriages- and shared that everything he could treat! That was what I needed to hear b.c I had those same fears you are now having.

You will have a child!! You can get pregnant, which is a great 1st step. Now they just need to find out what is causing the m/c.

If it's polyps- they can remove
If it's something that could lead to Bloodclots- there is BA or Lovenox
AutoImmune- Prednisone
Infection- They can treat
Or just Bad Luck and it be chromosomal

It will happen! The first appt will be overwhelming but eventually you will find out a cause and then treatment.
