Re: swing sets?

I posted the same q a month or so ago & didn't get many responses either. We got the Mt. Rainier set from BJ's (its the same as the Wood Kingdom one, but a few hundred less). There's pics in my album (I believe). It is VERY well made. It did take DH all weekend to put together though. It has everything though...swings, monkey bars, slide, sandbox & "club" house

Re: swing sets?

I posted a similar topic recently, it had a few replies thread

We ended up getting this one from BJs

DH was very particular about the strength of the swing beam and he felt comfortable with this one. It has a 150lb weight limit on the swings while most of kits in the stores we came across had a 115lb limit and an age limit of 8. He just started unpacking and the boxes last night, so we haven't used it yet.

Re: swing sets?

We got DD a cheap metal swing set for her 1st bday.

swing set

It is small, so the swings are closer to the ground and the slide is smaller so it's perfect for the next 2 or 3 years. We figured that when she was around 4, we'd get a big wood one from creative playthings.

We actually got a great infant swingset at BBB. We got two so if Mason has a friend over and they're cheap enough. I think $19.95.
BTW... hated the Step 2 infant swing. Try to avoid that. Hardly fit around Mason with the straps and he's a skinny kid! Says it goes to 18 months and there's no way

That was my reaction too when we first started looking Chat Icon

The BJs one is less in the store (I think it was $999 and then we used a $100 coupon that was in the book they send out each month.

Re: swing sets?

We bought one online from a company called backyardcity. we have been very happy with it so far. Very sturdy and was more reasonably priced than most of the places we looked. Swing Sets
