Pandora Bracelets...advice/tips/sugg
just discovered this adorable "gems"
Now I want one...I was in one of their stores...and then came home and played with their website! I even made a wishlist for my DH to look at for poss bday (not til sept..HAHA) and even Christmas! lolol
but now how does it work..does it look right with just one or two charms in the beginning???...or do you have to wait to wear it when it is full..which I imagine can take years..right...do you get fillers in the mean time!?!?
Can people also share their fav charms??? Curious what clever ones are out there!
I was also looking at other companies that have charms they "claim" to fit Pandora bracelets..is that better/not recc?? Bec I would love a shamrock or a claddagh and I didnt see that on their website, but saw it elsewhere...

I'm getting a pandora bracelet from my dh after i give birth to our baby. I'm only expecting the bracelet and one or two charms...I'm assuming wear it anyway...as holidays approach get another gem and im sure it will fill up...i think ur questions are great...so im curious myself..thanks for posting!!!!

I got one recently and had 2 charms on it for a while. I've since become addicted and have bought 2 stoppers and 3 more charms. I love the bracelet. It's really good quality!!!!
I have seen the knock off charms and am always tempted to get one because they are a whole lot cheaper but my neighbor ruined her bracelet "threads" by putting on the non-pandora charms.
I have a little girl charm, a blue glass one for the December birthstone, the wedding cake charm, eternal love charm and the graduation cap one.
I bought the 2 stoppers for about 35 bucks each and really let the jeweler take me. I thought they were mandatory so the charms would move around less and it turns out the charms won't move any more if I didn't have stoppers. Rather have gotten 2 more charms!

I received the Pandora Bracelet for mother's day and at first I got the bracelet, 2 charms and a spacer...the charms kept moving around always by the clasp so I just bought 2 clips..which I absolutely love, they look great on my bracelet.
The 2 charms that I have are June birthstone (for my DS) and the heart.
I cannot wait to go back and get more...its such a fun bracelet.

I first got my bracelet with 2 charms. A Jan and March birthstone. We then went back a few days later and bought 2 clips and a boy charm. I love the clips...my charms were sliding around and getting stuck on the little things the clips attach to. I love my bracelet!!

I got mine for Mother's Day with three charms. I wear it that way and like it that way. I don't really like how it looks completely filled with charms (just my preference) so I'll get a few more charms and that will be it.

my charms move around alot too, I am always moving them back to their rightful place  not sure how they move so much as you need to twist them to get them to move

I just bought my mom one last night and I got her 2 charms to start. Its a great gift for someone who is hard to shop for because you can keep buying them charms to add to it!!

When I got mine, DH got me 2 charms and the two stoppers. My charms move, but just between the two stoppers so it is not that much. I love my bracelet

I've heard a few stories about people complaining the stoppers don't stay on. I'd rather save my money and just buy charms. I started off with two also and think it is fine. Each one has a meaning.
I'm pretty sure Pandora has a shamrock.

They sure do!!
I started with 2 charms and have built up with charms and glass beads. Check ebay for good deals. I love adding to it and each charm is special. Some from DH, some from my nieces and nephews and some from my BFF (who now has her own). Enjoy it!!

Do the bracelets come in different lengths ? I didn't find that info on their website.

Yes. You can go to a store to find the best length for you.

Also check out Chamilla. Apparently he and Pandora are brothers who made two companies. Although I love my Pandora,...I got my mother a Chamilla for M-Day because the charms are adorable!

I was given mine when I had DD. It was started as a "mommy" bracelet, but I have since received charms that fit my personality as well. It started with 4-5 charms and 2 spacers.
I have all silver charms now, but I want to start adding color to it. I love my Pandora bracelet. I get compliments on it all the time.

Yes they come in different lengths. They also stretch a little as you add beads, not a lot, but if you're in between sizes, I would say go for the smaller one.

DH bought me one for Mother's Day and I love it!!!
I started with 5 charms. 2 Murano Glass charms on the outside, the baby carriage, the initial A (DS's name), and a baby bootie with blue rhinestones from Helzberg Diamonds, which I like so much better than the Pandora bootie charm. The Helzberg Diamonds charms do fit the Pandora bracelets even though they're not Pandora charms.
I now want to get two stoppers bc it gets annoying when the charms move around on the bracelet.
FYI, the jeweler told me if you are going to buy a few charms to begin with, buy an odd number as it will look more 'finished' than an even # of charms.

oohh this gave me an excuse to go play with the site. lol. this is what i got for valentine's day. The charms move but it doens't bother me. I think I'll buy a couple of stoppers eventually, I think they are also cute.
instead of the gift box in the middle I have this, but the it wasn'st supported buy the designer feature on their website. It says " I Love You <3".
