Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
About 4 weeks PP. I wanted them close in age and the timing worked out good for us.

Immediately. We started trying when DS was 6-7 months old, but didn't conceive this pregnancy until DS was 17 months.

DS is 18 months old. I've never wanted children close together, but I also don't want them too far apart. I think about the timeline a lot, but I definitely don't have baby fever yet.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
DS was 4 months when I mentioned it to DH. We were in the process of moving back to NY, SO DH said, "can we just move first?" Well, 1 yr later and we have actively been trying since Jan.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
1 month before DS#1 turned 3, my neighbor came home from the hospital with her new baby girl- that day it all clicked... "I want one!"...
I went off the pill THAT DAY
Got my BFP 1 day before DS#1 3rd birthday!

At four months PP, we were seriously thinking of it. At five months PP, I was pregnant with #2. My DDs are 14 months apart.
This is my EXACT response (well, except I have a DS and a DD )

We started thinking seriously when DD was 2. We couldn't consider it before that.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
We didn't. He had plans of his own...and honestly, I freaked out when I found out I was pregnant this time.
BUT, is truly my miracle baby because we were told I would not conceive naturally. So I have to believe that God has big plans for him.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
When I was 5 months pg I already wanted another. Then in the delivery room just after naturally having her with no meds I said I wanted to wait before having another!
That lasted a few weeks b/c I was pg when she was 6 1.2 weeks.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
I craved another one immediately after DD was born. I truly missed being pregnant.
With that said, we knew when I got pregnant with DD that we would try for #2 when she turned 9 months old.
When she was 6 months we went back to the RE and by the time she was 10 months old, I was pregnant again.
I'm pretty sure I will not be craving another one anytime soon, or anytime period after this one is born. I'm DONE and am truly miserable this time around.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
I started having the urge to have another baby when DD turned a year. She is now 14 months old and I really would like to have another but we are holding off for now because we really can't afford to pay for a second child in daycare right now.

DD is 3. I have yet to get the itch, and am pretty happy with 1. I am also 38, so I think we're done.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
I have an 11month old, and while I miss some of the stuff when she was tiny, and definitely want another baby, I don't have the itch yet and don't plan on having another child until I'm done with school (DD should be 3 by then)

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
DS is 5 months and some days I get the twinge of an urge to have another, but I know I am not ready. I want my DS to enjoy being the baby and the focus of our attention for a while. I am having too much fun with him and don't want another baby to care for and distract my attention.

Re: How soon after your FIRST little one, did you SERIOUSLY consider another?
Pretty much around 6 months with both. But didn't (and won't) act on it right away. With my first, I was 7 wks pg by his 1st birthday.
My second is now 8 months and I think about it A LOT but we're not ready to take action yet Plus, it will likely be my last child - I don't want to rush it ...too much
