I don't know if it's changed, but when we were searching for homeowners insurance in 2008, they did not cover Long Island.

they cover long island now I got a qoute think its pretty good probably going to go with them. Hope I make the right decsion

Its not Geico HOME, its another company they charter from, I believe its Travelers.

Do you mean Travelers? We use them. they gave us the most for our money.

geico is really expensive since they farm it out to another company.
i would get quotes from other ins companies

we have ours through geico...a company called naragansett....it was a lot cheaper than statefarm. our car insurance through geico was a third of the price of statefarm!

We do!! Narragansett is the company that they use through Geico.
We switched to Geico when allstate cancelled our policy due to being in a flood zone.. It was such a joke since we live in Syosset in the middle of Nassau County... SO we switched to GEico and we got a better rate from them then ALlstate... Our new home will be insured by them too..
