find my mom a job

ok, ladies and gents. i thought i would search here.

she hates her job. she works from 5 - 1 at a deli, and she is just over it..run down, tired, tired of the people etc.

she is extremely hard working and loves people...shes just done 'serving' them Chat Icon

she doesnt know what she wants to do. but she would be awesome managing something..anything..and really, people love her.

the prob is she doesnt want weekends or night...she just wants a normal 9 - 5ish where she can have a normal life.

any suggestions or connections?

she's in nassau.

Re: find my mom a job

What about a drs office as a receptionist? They always need people who can actually do two things at once!

Or what about your local church? I know there are a few in the city that are always looking to hire pt receptionists.

Private schools hire receptionists as well.

Good Luck!!!1

Re: find my mom a job

I totally agree with the doctor's office suggestion. My MIL runs several and is always complaining about how it's so hard to find reliable help.

When I was preggers and going to the ob-gyn weekly the office manager complained about this as well.

I think it's because these positions usually require one weekend day and one late night.
