So Proud of my DD

Marybeth222 My Girls! Member since 5/05 2688 total posts Name: Marybeth	So Proud of my DD We've been taking my dd to swimming lessons for years. She's 6 years old and your typical first child, cautious of everything. So yesterday we were at my in-laws pool and she tried to use her floaties. Now week after week, I've watched her swim w/the instructor w/o swimmies....so I got in the pool with her and made her jump to me a few times w/o the floaties. Once she got her confidence up, she was swimming the rest of the day w/o her swimmies in the deep end and then swimming the entire length of the pool I am so proud of her. Better yet, she's extremely proud of herself!!!

DS had a REALLY good day the other day and was able to jump in and swim to his instructor without sinking... I was practically jumping up and down with excitement so I can imagine how proud you are!
