Is there any hope..no hb at 1st visit

so i left the dr and they said there was no hb but want me to come back monday for another sono to make sure it's not too early..the dr. said it may be around 7 1/2 weeks today and may be too early but she doesnt want me to get my hopes up..has this happened to anyone else???? is there any hope???

I will say prayers for you and keep my fingers crossed.
I believe at like 5 weeks or so even 6 sometimes you can just see the hb starting but at 71/2-8 weeks you should see something.
I miscarried about 8 weeks and the doctor said you should see something by then.

There is hope if your dates are messed up and you are not as far along as you think. I hope it works out for you.

You never know if your dates are messed up...try to keep up hope!

This happened to me...they thought I was about 6 weeks...and there was no heartbeat. I went back 2 weeks later (was on vacation) and there was a strong heartbeat...they estimated I was 8wks at that appt. There is hope!
