How many monitors do I need?
My 1st DS is only 16 months and we are still using the summer infant video monitor in his room ( hes not the best sleeper). For twins do they make a monitor that has 2 cameras with a split screen since their cribs wont be right next to each other or do I need to buy 2 more cameras which would probably make my nightstand look like a shelf in babies r us. Any suggestions? Thanks!

YES! There is a new Summer Infant one. Really cool I saw it in the store. They came out with it after I got mine. We had two cameras and one monitor. The new one is so much better I tested it out in BBB.

Well, I use the angelcare monitor so I needed 2 seperate ones. I have seen video monitors with 2 cameras in BRU though!

Re: How many monitors do I need?
we used two cameras and 1 handheld video. We would toggle between 'a' and 'b'. Their cribs were next to each other so if it was on 'a' we could still here 'b'

This is what I have too....from Summer Infant. You may be able to add your other child on there too, I can't remember how many cameras it can use at once.

Re: How many monitors do I need?
We are in the same boat. My daughter is 3.5 and will be sleeping downstairs (we have a cape) and our bedroom and the nursery will be on the second floor. I wanted one system to do everything and my husband researched and found this:
Lorex 7” LCD Monitor Digital Wireless Video Surveillance Recorder with 2 Weather Resistant Wireless Motion Sensor Cameras
It supports up to 4 cameras so we got the basic setup plus 1 extra camera. One for each kid basically. It has one small LCD screen that splits the screen 4 ways, or will rotate between cameras. It has a motion alarm, volume control and 2 way communication which allows me to talk to my daughter on the first floor.
Costco sells the 2 camera setup for $300 which is comparable to the baby monitor systems and this one seems to do so much more.
Hope this helps!
