How long after you finish Provera do you get AF?
I'm starting Provera tonight and taking it for 10 days. The nurse said that it could take up to 2 weeks for AF to show up after that. Does it really take that long, or is 24 days (10 for the pills, 14 to get AF) a worst-case scenario? I'm trying to plan a vacation next month and need to know when we can leave!

whenever I took it I got AF on the 9th day of the pills but it varies for everyone.

I usually get AF 3-5 days after I take the last pill.

Okay, 3-5 days after the last pill is fine too. The nurse at my RE's office said it might take 14 days after the last pill. I think she meant to help me not stress if I don't get AF right away, but of course I got stressed anyway.

Hi Dava...I also took Provera for 10 days. My period came 11 days after I finished taking the Provera. Hope this helps!
