Hi Ladies,

There is a new position at my school. You need to be certified in math or English but don't need to have worked for the DOE. This position would be through The Door but working at my school. The hours are 10-6 (right now) The purpose of the job would be to support students who are failing or at risk to dropping out. These would be 9th graders and any hold overs. You would be more like a Mom/Dad/Advisor.

Starting salary would be more then starting salary for the UFT.

The school is located on the Upper West Side and pretty okay to work in.
