iui questions....
i have done ivf.... and now going to do iuis... i know seems backwards but long story lol..
anyhoo.... when i did ivf...there was no sex till pg test, no swimming/baths...no lifting anything heavy...
is this the same after iui? the dr said i could "go about my business" after an iui when i asked if i should bed rest a bit after....
i am going to ask dr tomorrow.... but i would love to know what you were told to do or not to do after your iui

ps... did you take progesterone after iui...or only after ivf? ty

We were always encouraged to  after IUI for extra coverage 
As far as swimming, baths and lifting I don't recall being given any restrictions:, but it was a while ago hug:

I agree with the extra BD!!
I was also told no heavy lifting or extreme exercising for a few days after... unless that's something you're used to.

lots of afterwards - just not b4 the iui!
u can pretty much do anything. i never had any restrictions  Good luck!!!
eta: this is the first time after a medicated iui that i didnt need progesterone - all the other times i needed supplements.
it really depends on ur progesterone level 7dpiui. i believe they want it over a 10 by then.

My doc didn't say anything about BDing. We BDed the night of my 2nd IUI and maybe 2 days later.
My RE did put me on progesterone. Good luck!!!

i saw doc this morning and going for iui thurs.
she said to i think either that night or the next ( cant remember will ask again)
i requested to be put on crinone prog since i have it already and i can do that.
and no restrictions except no hot baths.

I've always been told to go about my business..my very first one bothered me and I stayed in bed a while but after that, I was ok and even went to work after one. I am about to have my third round  of IUIs and asked about massages and they said those are ok and even some bathing and hot tub would be ok, but not a lot..swimming is fine, though....good luck!  
ETA that they never put me on progesterone
