Anovulatory Cycle
I think am having an Anovulatory Cycle because Ive been testing with OPks and never got a smiley.
Just just wiped and saw AF. Do you know how long the bleeding will last?
Also I count today as CD1 right?

Re: Anovulatory Cycle
Have you had prior anov cycles? What CD are you on? There is no way to know if they cycle was anov unless you are temping. I highly suggest that you start temping now so you can make sure you are def ovulating. OPKs will only tell you that you are having an LH surge, not that you are successfully ovulating. It is possible to have an LH surge and not ovulate, its very common with PCOS. As far as bleeding goes, I would pay attention as to whether it is exactly the same as your normal AF. If it is then you def should temp and confirm ovulation, otherwise It is possible that you have had other anov cycles and didn’t even know. Also, I don’t want to sound like an alarmist at all. Its totally normal to have one anov cycle a year. But multiple anov cycles signifies a problem so you’re just better safe than sorry and from experience I will tell you its much better to KNOW that you are def ovulating than to have to wonder. And if you aren’t that’s the first step to getting help, cause you cant make a baby without O!! Good luck

No, I've never had anov cycles before. I am on day 29. I took femara and injections for 2 days, but then had to stop because of an emergency we had so I didnt finish my medication. I have been really stressed out this month and it was my 1st month working out and dieting here and there. I used OPKs for weekssss and nothing but negatives. Today, my lower back started hurting me like when I get AF. Now, I went to the bathroom and Im getting the brown/tint of red as if it were AF so I thought maybe I had an anov cycle.
Do I count today as CD 1 and the cycle starts over again? Do you know how long the bleeding might last? My normal AF lasts 3 days. TIA!

Re: Anovulatory Cycle
CD1 should be a day of full bleeding. If you were just spotting, that would not count as day 1.
