Dreading summer ending
I know that I am in the minority, but I am DREADING school starting. I am a SAHM of 3 and am LOVING having everyone home. With one off to 2nd grade and one off to K this fall, I am feeling like I am going to have an "empty nest" 
Anyone else NOT looking forward to sending them back?

ME. I am off this summer. I am dreading going back to work and sending my kids off to school and daycare.

I dread the early mornings of school. I love the summer and sleeping in until 9 a.m. and having no set schedule.

If I was a SAHM I probably would not want summer to end. But, for me (at least this year) I felt like we really don't have a summer, still rushing out in the morning to camp, still need to get kids to bed early to be up on time, still packing food, etc. I miss the days of lazy summer days at the pool (although I was usually chasing a toddler around LOL) and I miss that luxury of doing whatever we wanted (naps included) on a particular day!!! I don't blame you!
The only thing I dread is fighting with DD to do her homework!

Cant say I am dreading sending her back to school, but I did have an nice summer with her and I am sad to see the warm, long days come to an end. THere was a lot more I wish I had done with her.

Same here ! I work nights , and I get home around 2 am , go to bed at 3 am, then I will have to get up at 6:30 am to get DD #1 to the bus by 7:20 , then dd#2 to the bus by 8:30, then I still have Eva which is 2 and takes a nap from 12-2 , get DD #1 off the bus at 2:20 , get dd#2 off the bus at 3:30 , homework, dinner, showers, laundry , then go to work  I like summer

Yep. Not much changes except I have to drive to camp instead of walking to the bus stop. I am looking forward to watching the news and having breakfast by myself again.
